With over 17 years experience in the mining industry, Michael was President, CEO and Director of Nayarit Gold Inc. from September 2005 to April 2007.  Between 1995 and 2005, he worked as an exploration geologist and later as a Senior Geologist with Goldcorp Inc.  Michael has been a director and/or management of publicly traded and private junior mining companies, with listings on the TSX, TSX-V, CNQ, Frankfurt, Berlin, OTCBB and Pink Sheets.  His expertise lies in grassroots to advanced minerals exploration, marketing and financing junior companies.  Michael has worked in diamond, base metals, precious metals, industrial minerals, oil and natural gas, as well as sand, gravel and peat deposits, primarily in the Americas on private, public company and government projects. His extensive technical knowledge of the Red Lake district is unparalleled in the industry.

Glen has over 10 years accounting experience with small, private companies.  He also brings with him small business ownership & management experience, a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.  Prior to Avanti, he spent several years in the film & television industry before working more recently with Nayarit Gold Inc., a publicly traded junior exploration company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange doing consulting in a marketing & corporate services capacity.
